The Crestron classroom control interface is implemented in classrooms and lecture halls across the University of Washington providing needed controls for the classroom technologies. However the current system is flawed, as the design of this product causes usability issues for people trying to display the projector screen or bring down window shades. Our research was intended to pinpoint flaws in the system, understand what design flaws made the system difficult to use, and develop recommendation for the next iteration of the product.
